Born, educated, and worked in China, Ms. Yuan spearheaded some of the earliest privatization efforts of state-owned enterprises and led successful landmark joint-venture projects before coming to the United States to earn her MBA from USC. Since then, she worked with several of the founders of Qualcomm and their various investments, including a venture capital fund, Omninet Capital, through which Ms. Yuan served on the Board of Directors and Advisory Board of two companies. Ms. Yuan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and most recently worked with Powerwave Technologies, as the Director of its market planning and intelligence.
